When Is Lying Okay?

Updated on February 16, 2015

"I cannot tell a lie..."

Over the decades I've heard various rationalizations from people thinking it's okay to tell a lie here, and a lie there, as long as no one is harmed by the untruth. Then there are those who are pathological liars, a prime example being Barack Hussein Obama. He actually believes his lies which makes him far more dangerous than the first class of rationalizers I mentioned.

It has become a sad state of affairs when the person inhabiting the People's House has been getting away lying with impunity and the Lames Stream Media has acted like it's normal behavior and lapping at his heels like dogs. The estate that was supposed to be the watchdog of the common man has become a mutt instead.

I contend that lying isn't okay no matter the circumstances. There is no "little white lie" because a lie is a lie. It's a fabrication inside someone's mind usually to protect themselves rather than others. This is going somewhere so bear with me. it has been a while since Dan Rather was fired for fabricating stories and now we have Lyin' Brian Williams caught with his tongue in the cookie jar. So other parallels have begun to surface.

Positions of public trust need to be paid attention to regarding selling people a bill of goods to make themselves more than they really are. The state of politics in this country seems to breed a class of people who generally lack a conscientious. Their conscientious is the raw pursuit of power and in some instances fame. If you are paying income taxes, and about 50% of you out there aren't, then those "representatives" are charged with the fiduciary duties of safeguarding your hard earned dollars and applying them in accordance with the laws of this nation. That would include the US Constitution.

There are news networks and sources that are calling out these lying frauds but the big 3 networks are not among those sources. They have long ago abrogated their duties of being the watchdog for the public and turned instead to reporting mainly fluff pieces. Lyin' Brian was supposedly suspended for 6 months without pay but in reality I don't see how they can, in good conscientious, bring the guy back after all the revelations surface. They haven't and there's that pesky "conscientious" word again.

This article is to address one Hillary Rodham Clinton who, maybe or maybe doesn't, aspire to become the next President of the United States. We just go saddled with one liar in that position and sure don't need another one any time soon, if ever. There has been quite a ruckus concerning NBC suspending Lyin' Brian because he lied to viewers. But not too much has been said about Hillary and her string of lies. That's okay with you is it? It's going to be just dandy to elect another person to the highest office of this land based upon lies?

Brian Williams' lies were minuscule compared to Hillary Clinton's outright fabrications Lets take a look so you can maybe digest what I am talking about:

* You saw the graphic above about the "snipers." Her tale was that she landed in Bosnia and came under heavy sniper fire as she ran in terror across the tarmac. But alas there was no sniper fire and Clinton was greeted by a little girl who gave her a poem. In other words she lied. Ask yourself why?

* Remember when she bragged for over ten years that her namesake was Sir Edmund Hillary. He climbed Mount Everest. Well it turns out that Clinton met Sir Edmund Hillary in 1995 and repeated that same story to him. Talk about ingratiating oneself. The problem was, and Sir Edmund knew this, is that dear Hillary was born before Sir Edmund Hillary ever climbed Mt. Everest. Quite a feat then that made him known to the public. A case of mis-remembering?

* Then there was the story about Chelsea and 9/11. Never heard that one? Where you been? According to Hillary Chelsea was jogging by the World Trade Center on 9/11 and nearly lost her life! WOWSER Hillary - close call huh. She conveniently ducked into a coffee shop for cover as she heard the first jet crash into the tower. Just in the nick of time but unfortunately not a word of it was true again. Where was Chelsea at the time? Asleep at a friend's apartment - four miles away from Ground Zero. A friend called her and woke her up to tell her to turn on the TV set. Clinton caught lying again.

* Lets not forget Benghazi which hasn't gone away. Why? Because 4 Americans lost their lives that day due to negligence. What she told the whole world was that the attack on or consulate in Libya was a political protest that got a little out of hand. No way was that a terrorist attack but the result of a silly YouTube video. The truth of the matter? It was all pre-planned by Islamic terrorists. They came in a convoy of trucks, sealed off streets, and launched a vicious assault on the consulate with rocket propelled grenades, mortars, AK-47s and artillery mounted on the trucks. The attackers then attacked the CIA annex a mile away. That much is factually known and acknowledged now. So her response as the nation's Secretary of State was to lie and mislead the public along the way spending $70,000 of taxpayer money running TV commercials consoling Muslims in the Middle East and make apologies for the YouTube video. Whoops caught in the lie again.

It makes a hell of a lot of difference to the parents and loved ones of those 4 deceased Americans in service to this nation. The weren't able to duck into a coffee shop just in the nick of time or dodge that fictitious sniper fire in Bosnia..

So there you have it. It seems Hillary took copious notes on how to lie with a straight face from her philandering husband William Jefferson Clinton. It might be time to maybe look seriously at a woman candidate for the office of POTUS. I'm thinking that Hillary, like Obama, lacks the honesty and integrity that would be befitting of that high office.

As always,
