The Death Of A Bad Idea

Updated on March 29, 2013

Those Who Act Like Sheep Will Be Eaten By Wolves

The whole issue of gun control should have, if anything, been given to someone besides our Crazy Uncle Joe. I reckon Obama needed to keep him occupied while he continues to do nothing. I'm always amazed how these professional pick pockets we call politicians can create an enormous amount of energy attempting to whittle away at our fundamental rights instead of doing what we pay them to do. You know the little things like passing budgets and righting the fiscal ship of state that they have torpedoed over time.

Now Joey keeps up a "the American people are with us on this" chant which a low information voter might believe. Those members of the public are the same ones who sent the Obama-Biden ticket back to continue damaging this nation which some of us hold in high regard. Those are also the type of voter who thinks it's alright for this nation to sign a UN Arms Treaty, not understanding that the UN doesn't run this country. Our US Constitution should be able to do that if it is followed. That's a different subject altogether so lets concentrate on the waste of time Biden has been involved in and his reaction to what is as plain as the nose on his faace.

Remember what these thieves did when they should have been concentrating on a failing economy back in 2009? They concentrated on passing Obamacare instead and that's turning into the biggest socialized mess we have ever experienced in this country. The economy is still a mess and it seems like they want to concentrate on anything under the sun but doing what we pay them to supposedly do. The key word there was "supposedly" because they are getting a failing grade all around.

Now according to Crazy Uncle Joe the Whine House has just begun to fight even though faced with the gun control measures undertaken in the US Senate. under the tutelage of Harry Reid, that are falling flat on their face and gasping for air. Many of those Blue State Democratic Senators are facing reelection in 2014 According to Joey, "They have just begun to fight!" What they need to do is k nock off the crap and get to the task at hand which is rein in excessive government spending, pass a budget every year and live by it.

They need to stop wasting precious time and get with the program of fixing what they have collectively screwed up. That needs to be Priority #1.

Nuff Said?

What he is saying is tantamount to admitting they screwed the pooch on this deal and they're running back to where the voters are. The voters aren't wanting to give up their guns to the likes of Obama and Biden, and probably not anyone else for that matter. Most people don't want to be outgunned by the bad guys. Like the bad guys are going to gun shops to buy their armament and submitting to fancy schmancy back ground checks designed by bureaucrats?

Joey is the front man for admitting that assault weapons ban and the magazine limit debacle are DOA even as amendments. But Obama seems to think that even voting on them as defeated measures is a good start. It's a waste of time the way I see it. The US Senate seems good at wasting time and it has been that way since this administration started. They are adept at doing absolutely nothing. They are supposed to be "the greatest deliberative body in history?" At doing what? As long as Harry Reid is leading that charge it will remain that way - A Do Nothing Senate.

The US Senate Needs A Truckload Of Tuits...

The people we pay good money and perks to need to pluck their heads out of their duffel bags. We don't pay them that kind of money to attempt to overturn the Second Amendment, We don't pay them a dime to attempt to "infringe in any manner" on our right to bear arms. That should be a settled fact for as long as I can remember. The Second Amendment wasn't written about hunters. It was penned to guard against tyranny and to insure that the citizens of this nation have adequate protection for themselves and their family.

The federal government has no business running a massive gun registry system. Maybe that's 10th Amendment type of business if it is necessary at all.

Obama has consistently won "The Gun Salesman Of The Year Award" since he took office. Now why would that be?

ADVICE FOR THE DAY:

Limit all politicians to two terms.
One in office.
One in prison.
Detroit and Chicago already do this.

"Vote It," "Like"It, "Tweet" It, "Pin " It, "Share It" With Your Followers. Time to let em read it and keep reading it.

As Always,
