Telling The Political Truth

Updated on October 19, 2014

It's been a common practice of the Obama administration to do "document dumps" around the close of business time in Washington DC on the typical Friday. That way some critical information gets lost in the news cycle before the coming Monday. Kind of a despicable practice from the administration that promised to be the "most transparent" in history. It has been anything but that actually.

We've been lied to and deceived from the inception of this Chicago style mafia bunch from a bogus health care reform to the present. What we are seeing is what we can get when low information voters swarm to the polls thinking electing Obama was historical and a popularity contest. When the goodies seem to be up for grabs the leeches within our society surface for air and it seems to be intensifying rather than the people we elect getting a handle on it.

The obscuring of information has reached a new pinnacle for the "most transparent administration in history" as we approach the November 4th election. The thinking might be that the Obama administration can't afford any more bad news than it has already generated during the past 6 years. Obama has reached new lows in his own popularity and the majority of Americans think the nation is on the wrong track in just about any, and every, area that can be objectively measured. Not to say there aren't still a few rose colored glasses admirers of Obama still on the loose.

Here are the four sentences that will draw all of the attention in that speech: "I am not on the ballot this fall. Michelle's pretty happy about that. But make no mistake: these policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them." Boiling that down even further yields this: "Make no mistake: these policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them."

That video may be one of the only times Obama has spoken the unbridled truth in 6 years of the unfolding of his failed policies. He still possesses the propensity of opening his mouth to utter words when he should keep his mouth clamped shut. He isn't on the ballot come next month but his policies are. The mood of the country isn't exactly in his corner when the majority of Americans think the nation is on the wrong path and you happen to be the resident CEO during the times the numbers are being collected.

So lets take a gander at things that this administration is keeping from the American public until after the November election, Obamacare is still an issue even though Democrats running for office who helped ram that down the public's throats want to avoid the subject like Ebola. Interesting at what is being withheld until after the coming election. It has to do with the cost of being covered in the plan that was supposed to make premiums go down which has has the opposite effect.

The administration is sitting on the data that when revealed will make more than a few unhappy voters even more unhappy. Remember all those who were told the lie "that if you like your health insurance plan then you can keep it" and ended up with Obamacare which they didn't want in the first place? Turns out that at on the low end of the Obamascare premium scale the average bronze plan will rise a minimum of 14% and some go much higher. Just Google "Obamacare bronze plan increases" and you'll get an eye full. Don't want to make those low info voters shy away from the polls by hitting them in their pocket books prior to the election. Just wait until after so we can try to keep those votes too. How utterly transparent can one be?

If one ventures over to Healthcare.gov there is NO, and I mean ZERO, premium cost information for 2015. If it's all good then why not let the public know what they don't want you to know - until after the election. The state of politics in this nation has hit rock bottom since Obama was elected. He was the one who was sent to save us from ourselves and look at the mess he has wrought.

From the Fast & Furious gun running into Mexico, the use of the IRS as a political weapon, to Benghazi, ISIL and the bumbling of the advances made during Iraq, and now Ebola and watching a pandemic handled by the Keystone Cop administration in Washington DC which refuses to initiate a travel ban with the logic that it will make things worse in Africa just how much can you stomach? The focus of the executive branch, no matter who is sitting in the Oval Office, has to be the welfare of the citizens of this country and not anywhere else until that subject is addressed.

What Obama failed to mention in that speech at Northwestern University is that his presidency has been an abject failure with a lot of smoke and mirrors along the way to apply as jelly on stale bread. He wants to finish destroying what he despises - this nation. This nation expelled his Daddy and sent him back to Kenya. Unfortunately they didn't make him take his off spring with him.

Conservatives of any and all stripes need to buck up and take their gluteus maxima to the polls and vote like they have a conscience rather than act like spoiled brats that their particular candidate wasn't selected in the primary. Stop looking at the (D) or (R) by someone's name and actually study the issues and the positions each and every candidate espouses. We need new faces and fresh ideas in order to salvage the further wreckage Obama has thrust upon us.

Obama's name surely isn't on the ballot but what he represents is there in full view for you to see. His party's candidates who voted in lock step with him need to leave the halls of Congress and the state houses across this nation. Those minions are now wanting you to believe that they had nothing to do with the state of the nation under Obama. If you believe that I have some swamp land out here in the Texas desert I'll make you a deal on.
