Spendaholics Meet The Naive

Updated on January 7, 2013

How Does It Feel To Be Duped?

Having watched politics for over four (4) decades I have to ask the question above. Then to compound the stupidity of being duped one a segment of the ill-informed, what's in it for me, electorate let the same snake oil salesman dupe them the second time. To make it even worse he had you believing that his tax hikes were only going to effect those "evil rich" people who make our society and job markets what they are today after a couple of hundred years of endeavor.

The average American, who has been paying any attention, knows the nation's politicians are suffering from a disease and are spendaholics. They do that nifty little trick to get people to vote for them so they can continue to warm those cushy seats in Washington DC at the tax payer's expense. Those they catch on the hook with that smoke and mirrors trick we'll know as the naive. For those of you who pay no income taxes I urge you to keep reading.

Fred Sanford was fond of saying, "You Big Dummy!" For those who thought Obama had any such notion as to only tax the "rich" that label fits you to a "T." He racked up $6 trillion in national debt in less than 4 years you Big Dummies. How did you think he planned on paying for it? Or is it that he has no such intention in the first place? If that is the case, which I suspect myself, you may be even more stupid than we thought you were.

He set up, along with Harry Reid, that whole "sequester over the cliff scenario" when we hit the top of the national debt back when. Did you miss that move? If you missed it let me clue you in now that you just saw the ultimate outcome of the Democratic Party's strategy. Don't you have the slightest clue as to why that political party is known as the "tax and spend" party? Well DUH! The first thing we saw was extreme excessive spending at a time where the nation was plunging into a deeper economic crisis.

It seems many Obama supporters are now a bit upset, if not down right angry, now that the cliif has been avoided and those nasty "rich" people were hit with the class warfare tax that Obama advocated in order to wage his envy campaign. These are politicians you're dealing with so you should have had at least a clue, especially with the guy who promised you the world and gave you a heap of horse turds.

If you've ever watched a Democratic voter learn something then watch this trick that was just pulled on them. They were like the little sheep heading toward the cliff. Oh yeah! We can believe Barack Hussein Obama. Since when? I ask again, "Who did you think was going to pay for the first 4 years of Obama's excessive spending?" Do you also know that Obama doesn't feel our nation has a spending problem? He sure didn't say that out there on the campaign trail now, did he? What he promised was more free cell phones, food stamps and a wrecked economy that he helped put on the garbage pile. We're broke folks whether you like it or not.

You Even Close To Getting It Yet?

Oh the disgruntlement is all over the internet. Want some examples? These comments were gleaned from "middle class" tax payers.

“I know to expect between $93 and $94 less in my paycheck on the 15th,” wrote the ironically named “RomneyLies.”

“My boyfriend has had a lot of expenses and is feeling squeezed right now, and having his paycheck shrink really didn’t help,” wrote “DemocratToTheEnd.”

“BlueIndyBlue” added: “Many of my friends didn’t realize it, either. Our payroll department didn’t do a good job of explaining the coming changes.”

Yeah Boy - You Big Dummies! So lets explain to the Democratic revelers some factual information that Obama seemed to omit while waging his class warfare gig. In 2009, this wasn't Bush's fault, Obama enacted a glorious "tax holiday" where the rate went from 6.2% to 4.2%. Well on New Year's Day guess what happened? The holiday was over andf Obama didn't extend it for the middle class. What? He lied to you? Yes, he did mainly by omission because you weren't paying attention to reality.

Wake Up To The Way They Really Work...

Lets take a final look at some Obama zombies who are waking up:

“Bake” chimed in with this observation, “My paycheck just went down. So did my wife’s. This hurts us. But everybody says it’s a good thing, so I guess we just suck it up and get used to it. I call it a tax increase on the middle class. I wonder what they call it. Somebody on this thread called it a ‘premium.’ Nope. It’s a tax, and it just went up.”

Others argued on the same thread that the new tax — or the end of the “holiday— wouldn’t really amount to much.“ The figure quoted was $86 a month. What would that buy? Maybe groceries for a week or fill up the gas tanlk at least once? You could probably make a wish list of your own of things you won't be able to buy now.

For the Tweeters among us we got:

“Really, how am I ever supposed to pay off my student loans if my already small paycheck keeps getting smaller? Help a sister out, Obama,” wrote “Meet Virginia.”

“Nancy Thongkham” was absolutely furious. She got a case of potty mouth, “F***ing Obama! F*** you! This taking out more taxes s*** better f***ing help me out!! Very upset to see my paycheck less today."

You believed it then and you still believe it now?

Some are even today trying to blame George Bush for something Obama enacted in 2009. No folks it's definitely time to blame Obama. He owns all this now and doesn't have any idea what to do about any of it.
