SNAP Riots?
"What government can give to you government can take away." There are approximately 50 million people on the SNAP (food stamp program) benefit handout program. I previously wrote an article concerning November 1st of this year and the SNAP cut backs. You can read that article at the link at the bottom of this one.
The problem with any socialistic bending entitlement society is that eventually you run out of other people's money. We witnessed the riots in Greece, Spain and other European countries where austerity measures had to be implemented. This nation's time is coming. I attribute the past 5 years of reckless spending by Obama and his crew to the root cause of what we might see. Now the question might be, "Was it intentional?"
Lets pause and watch this video.
Now I can hear the liberals across the nation, and the Democratic pick pockets in Washington DC,screaming at the top of their lungs that "it's the Republican's fault." Far from it so lets set the record straight. Here's the cold, hard fact of what is about to occur and why.
"The cut takes effect on Nov. 1, and will bring an end to a funding increase that Democrats wrapped into President Obama’s 2009 stimulus law."
Okay so back up and remember "whose" idea the stimulus plan was and who controlled both houses of Congress when Obama rolled that lemon on to the national showroom floor. I'm wondering now what the pony up on the food stamp amounts paid out had to do with stimulating the economy. Pelosi said that food stamps are a job creator if I remember correctly. No what the food stamp program has become is a means to enslave American people and make them beholden to the federal government.
Lets hear what Pelosi had to say about all of this and get a chuckle. After watching this chuckle head then ask yourself, "Have you seen anything she mentioned in that diatribe?" I still can't believe that people in her district keep sending her back to do more damage to this nation and fatten up her bank accounts.
As we begin to brace against the unknown, which is November 1st, may I suggest you go back now and actually read and digest the article I wrote on the SNAP program just the other day. This cut that is about to occur was the fault of the Democrats. Be very clear on that.
I'm all for helping those who need temporary assistance. But our society is slowly but surely being turned into an entitlement society, an unsustainable entitlement society by people who are masquerading as defenders of the poor folk. No, they are defenders of their own special interests and their own bank accounts. I think the interview in the first video hits the nail squarely on the head.
All Obama has ever done is to give lip service to job creation after creating his latest crisis. It's better to give a hand up than a hand out. Teach a man how to fish not give him the fish.
Coming down the pike is a $40 billion cut in the farm bill sitting in Congress. I also discuss that bill in the link below. The SNAP program has gotten out of hand and is rife with fraud, waste and abuse. Any thinking American knows that. Look at what just happened in Louisiana when the computer system went down for just a few hours. Grocery store aisles were literally stripped bare. Just a few bad apples huh? I don't think so. It's a mentality that has been bred into generation after generation and word spreads very quickly.
Measures need to be taken to break the cycle of welfare dependency. The SNAP program is part of that whole cycle. During Obama's tenure he has expanded that grip on people by leaps and bounds. If you place, and then keep, a boot heel on people's throats then you have control over their lives. You're looking at it. It's now time to do something about it.
