Just "A Bump?" Those were people...

Updated on September 25, 2012

Barriers To Appeasement

Obama has a strange spin for many of us who have experienced Presidents in all flavors. He is, however, a very good peddler of snake oil. Most snake oil salesmen of great renown were never short on shtick to peddle imaginary relief. You see snake oil never did much to cure any ill known to man and neither do Presidents like Barack Hussein Obama.

In 2008 my son drank the koolaid and told me just how eloquent Obama was. At the time I told him that eloquence and actual leadership are horses of a different color. Today he now acknowledges that what I had cautioned him about was true. Will he vote to reelect Obama? He now has seen the light and is disgusted that he might have been fooled but it happens. The best advice I could ever give him now is to admit the mistake, correct it and try not to be deceived by a silver tongued devil ever again.

This Image Is What Obama Considers A Bump

Obama did a 60 Minutes segment Sunday and I'm not really sorry I missed it because I am disgusted by the empty rhetoric I hear when he opens his mouth. Sunday would have been especially painful because of this statement concerning his Middle East appeasement policies:

“But I was pretty certain and continue to be pretty certain that there are going to be bumps in the road because, you know, in a lot of these places the one organizing principle has been Islam."

Obama's "bumps in the road" I see as human lives. Our Ambassador to Libya and three other Americans are now bumps? Our embassies around the world now, considered to be US soil, are being assaulted by bands of terrorist thugs but again - just mere bumps in the road. Actually Obama is a bump in the road which we need to scrape up and get rid of quickly unless he is allowed to do more damage.

As usual, it is claimed that people are taking what Obama said "out of context." Isn't it strange that every time Obama has to talk without his teleprompter on that the rest of us are accused of taking what he says out of context? Don't believe anything Obama says and everything his teleprompter says. My question then is just who is behind that teleprompter that I can't see?

The Whine House Defense?

But what Carney was yammering on about doesn't reflect the Obama of the past. I will use the economy as an example. Some of you will remember and many others will have conveniently forgotten. Obama is out there constantly campaigning asking his faithful to accept an economic recovery on faith. All of the weak signs that abound around us in the economy, and have been exacerbated by this administration, are but signs of his robust recovery to come. He has referred to the bad signs and sagging economic indicators as "bumps in the road." I hate to tell you folks but Obama doesn't have the answers to fix the economy. He tried and he failed.

What is the usual refrain whenever the dismal unemployment figures keep starring at us and the misery index increases as more people either can't find work or are only partially employed? More "bumps in the road" talk from Obama or his inner circle. I reckon this must be why he wants to spend money on roads and claims that "you didn't build that" and that the government is the answer to our prayers. We're just supposed to sit still hitting speed bump after speed bump tearing our frame out while Obama tries to get his policies down right.

The problem, Carney, is that this is the same shtick just applied as a different elixir which many of us recognize as snake oil. Human beings aren't "bumps in the road." Neither is the destruction of our embassies, nor the raising of Al Qaeda flags on US property.

It is time to remove one big US bump in the road. His name is Barack Hussein Obama. In his own words below at the start of his administration we need to now hold him to at least one thing he said.

"I Will Be Held Accountable..."

It's time that maybe we become "speed bumps" along the path of Obama's destruction of our nation as we know it. More fitting is for us to build road blocks and don't worry about being bumps in the road. He seems to prefer a different flag than many of us do. I prefer the stars and stripes without the defacement invented by a snake oil salesman or his minions.

As Always,

The Frog Prince
