Happy Sequestration Day

Updated on March 1, 2013

So It Wasn't True?

Happy Sequestration Day to all you doom and gloom liberals out there in LalaLand. Of course it wasn't true, even though Obama had you convinced once again that only he has the inside skinny on the workings of such a complex economy of ours administered by an bunch on incompetents that are only interested in feathering their own nests.

I rose early this morning and immediately ran outside and guess what? The sky was still up there, stars shining away and the cosmos was still intact. There wasn't a sign of Chicken Little yesterday and it is rumored that he was holed up with our Crazy Uncle Joe of 'use a shotgun to repel those pesky invaders' fame. I have seen so many loons in one administration since Jimmie Carter occupied the Whine House.

Anyone Been To An Airport Today?

So I dashed back inside and I was amazed! I still had electricity even though it's getting more expensive because of Obama's lack of an effective energy policy. I turned on the TV and it worked!!! What in the world was going on? Fox News was still there! Oh my goodness and they were still telling the truth rather than some sideways Obama lies that the Lame Stream Media had been parroting for Obama for a least a week. Obviously the internet didn't collapse at midnight because here I sit writing this missive.

I haven't dashed off to the grocery store yet to make sure they're still selling meat but I'm not as worried about that as I used to be. Afterall, the sky is still up there where it belongs despite what President Scarequester had his worshippers believing. Hopefully the sun is going to actually come up here in a little bit and shine down upon this once glorious nation.

Imaginary Cuts At Best

The part Obama didn't talk about as he was out campaigning this past week was the nature of the supposed cuts that aren't really actual cuts in the first place. As usual he was selling wolf tickets and as usual the Lame Stream Media was parroting our fearful leader and the koolaid slurpers were gulping it down as fast as their throats would take it.

Now I have a question for you folks out there. Has anyone figured out yet why Obama remains on the campaign trail rather than in Washington DC leading this nation? Is he now running for Supreme Leader? Isn't leading, not scaring, what we pay him to do? Here we are giving him, Moochelle and the bambinos, along with his mother-in-law, free room and board and he can't run a lemonade stand much less a small Latin American nation of little consequence. What in the world were you thinking when he was elected the first time? Then you up and reelected him for a second spin expecting a different result? Really? That's called insanity.

Now for all you "Bush blamers" out there don't even try it. Sequestration was Obama's idea. He dreamed the crisis up and manufactured it all by himself. Well, maybe not but with the help of the Keynesian economists that continue to advise him. The economy is stagnant and barely growing and the unemployment rate remains high. Obama's answer is to levy even more taxes on the American people so he can spend more money on his misguided policies. That isn't the answer at all and any economist worth his salt knows that. But then again Obama, self-admittedly, knows nothing about economics and not being a listener but rather a talker he doesn't get the message.

We have yet to feel the effects of the $600 billion plus tax hike that kicked in upon his request on January 1st of this year but rest assured when that goes south, like everything else his incompetence begets, it will be the Republican's fault or Bush's fault or anyone else the Blamer-in-Chief can poke his bony finger at.

Rest Easy America! Obama's Got This!!!

So there ya go... The first day of Sequestration and the sun is rising, we're alive and kicking like a chicken and Chicken Little will soon take to the cameras with a different crisis he has manufactured. Such is the way of incompetent politicians and Washington DC is full of them these days. They created this mess and now you expect them to fix it? Maybe another sign of insanity...

Now remember that $85 billion in cuts? First of all that was a 2.4% cut in government growth not actual dollars. Then there is more magic. Only $44 billion of that amount will be applied to this year's growth. That's lunch money to these professional pick pockets up there. So for crying out loud what the heck are they bawling about?

QUOTE OF THE DAY FROM YESTERDAY: "Let me see here. My degree isn't in nuclear science but if revenue in is at an all time high and we're running trillion dollar plus deficits for five years in a row then spending must be what? So simple that even a 5th Grader can understand it."
