Fact Checking As Requested...

If anyone bothered to fact check the Democratic National Convention speakers from Bill Clinton on down you're probably still diligently at it since there was so much useless information being passed off as factual. They bested the Republicans in this area for sure. Listening to Joe Biden is akin to listening to your Crazy Uncle Joe and most of us know to tune him out at any gathering. It is said he gave one of the better speeches there but that wouldn't be saying a whole lot about the speeches.

As anyone who fact checks this administration knows, anytime Medicare is mentioned by this crew you need to sift through it. Last week Biden made some rather misleading allegations, as usual, about the Romney-Ryan Medicare reform plan among other issues at the convention. In other words, Crazy Uncle Joe was dealing the Mediscare card off the bottom of the deck again for Team Obama. Specifically what he said in his convention speech was their plan would "cut benefits immediately for 30 million seniors already collecting Medicare." You scared yet? Don't be because it isn't true this time either. There isn't a word of truth in any of it as it applies to anyone presently 54 and older. Then up at a rally in Ohio he told the press to "fact check" him. So guess what happened? They did and did it thoroughly.

Campaign politics being what it is the Romney campaign released the results of Biden's claims concerning the tax and Medicare plans with a dab of fact checking on Biden's claims about Romney shipping jobs overseas. That charge is ridiculous to say the least in light of the stimululus money these boobs sent overseas to green jobs not in this country. Obama has been shipping our dollars overseas to China in the form of debt and OPEC in the form of oil revenue rather than using our own resources and at the same time creating needed jobs.

With unemployment remaining above 8% with the latest weak jobs report, the national debt soaring above $16 trillion on the day the Dems started their gum beating, the labor participation rate hitting an all time three decade low, the medium household income declining by $4,300 a year and gas prices which began at $1.78 when this administration took office hitting an average of $3.83 a gallon it is obvious why Team Obama wants to talk about anything and everything but their failed record. Along the way making false or misleading statements that their sheeple consume like it's all true.

We keep hearing about these 4.5 miilion jobs Team Obama has created? First, ask yourself if the federal government really creates jobs. It doesn't. What Cazy Uncle Joe stated again was a familiar refrain and it goes like this, "after the worst job loss since the Great Depression we created 4.5 million private sector jobs in the past 29 months." Here's what fact checkers point out. That number, first of all, excludes the number of jobs lost by Team Obama . The cover up is that the statement doesn't say that overall unemployment has increased during the period in question. It's a matter of massaging the numbers to make them look good. Ask the 23 million Americans who are unemployed or underemployed how that massage feels to them. The only way the BLS has gotten any movement downward is to lower the labor participation rate. That should tell you how honest Team Obama is about their job creation failure. Again, the federal government doesn't create jobs, they create misery.

One of the fallacies the Associated Press (AP) pointed out is that in Obama's speech that he is going to use the money saved by ending the wars to build highways, bridges and schools. Really? What the question centers around is that pile of money that doesn't exist because the wars are financed using borrowed money. Team Obama has been financing their flights of fancy now for 4 years using smoke and mirrors economics. Why do you think he has increased the national debt by $5.4 trillion (and counting) in less than 4 years. He made history with that feat and now he doesn't want to talk about it? Please...

A comparison of the actual real time debt clock against the 2016 debt clock gives you a better picture of the type of debt Obama plans on racking up. Not a pretty picture for our kids and their kids and their kids...

FactCheck.org listed 8 spins by Team Obama in their speeches. For those of us who read we knew when the silver tongues were flashing. First up is Obama's claim that "independent experts" say his economic plan (didn't really know he has one actually) will cut 4 trillion out of the deficit over 10 years. Another analyst states that it appears that way because of accounting gimmicks. Our feds are famous for those types of gimmicks. The lay person calls it smoke and mirrors economics.

Another whooper concerns General Motors, also affectionately known now as Government Motors. Obama claims they're #1 in the world again. Whoops! Wrong! They've slipped back to #2. Sales projections have them sliding in at the end of the year at #3 behind Toyota and Volkswagen. A recent analysis of the company seems to indicate that GM has one foot on the bankruptcy banana peel again. He also failed to mention that the bailout hurt a lot of investors and pension holders, beside the union pensions it was meant to protect, in the process.

Biden scare time next. Did you know that Mitt Romney plans on raising taxes on the middle class by $2,000.00? There isn't a word of truth in that one because Romney's tax plan calls for lowering the taxes on the middle class.

With Team Obama you have to check even the little things. The tendency of a pathological liar is to let it all rip and hope that some of it sticks. Over the course of the past four plus years, including his last campaign, you would think we had heard it all by now. But we haven't unfortunately. Why don't we settle down now and take a look at this administrations record based upon what Obama said he was capable of doing and was going to do. Is it a pretty picture? Of course it isn't because most politicians run on their record and Team Obama can't.

Let me leave you with an outright lie Obama presented to this nation concerning Obamacare. He knew it was a lie when he said it. The fact that it was a bald faced lie has been affirmed. Take a look and then think about Obama if you still believe one word the guy says.
