Dopes And Chains
Just Imagine...
Close your eyes and just imagine that you are chained to a large money munching monster like the present federal government and can't get away. Right now you are faced with the choice of flight. Four more years of Barack Obama's European style socialism movement and your choice will be sealed for you. No kidding about it.
Then imagine that a comment about "chains" being made before a predominantly black audience was made by a conservative of any stripe, much less a current Vice President, and the ensuing Lame Stream Media stampede to crucify that individual for making remarks with a "racist overtone." Joe Biden said what he said, in the manner he said it and the implications are there for intelligent, thinking people to see. What I sensed was a continuing class warfare crusade by the administration that was going to unite this nation. They were going to do that until it became apparent that they were in over their heads and had a dismal record to run on.
The Obama/Biden Chains... AKA The Federal Deficit
What Biden failed to mention was the virtual debtor's prison (who really needs chains?) that Obama is intent on foisting on future generations. Is that "change" you can believe in? Imagine that we're soon to be "chained" to a $16 trillion national debt. No need to use your imagination because it's about to happen and will coincide with the Republican National Convention. That's about a $5.5 trillion dollar increase, in under 4 years in office, that has been brought upon the heads of those of us who pay taxes.
Over the past few years I have advised people to actually sit down with their heirs and try to explain how it's okay to spend money this nation doesn't have and leave that debt to others, some of them not even born yet, as if it isn't our present responsibility. I'm still waiting for anyone to tell me even how to approach the subject with any semblance of sanity. I've had a few "that's a dopey idea" comments and in my mind only dopes would think that is the way to run a country, much less a business. If you attempted to do what I suggest then most people would have a tendency to think you're a dope and maybe give a rope. Kind of the rope-a-dope approach to thinking.
The mixing of offensive words and a particular message seems to be more than a coincidence. Y'all should understand what I mean by this time. Biden is from Delaware, not the south where "y'all' is quite common in our vocabulary. According to Stephanie Cutter, one of Obama's deputy campaign managers, came out immediately and confirmed that Obama really had no problem with Biden using a bad black dialect to warn a largely black audience in a predominantly black district that "they're going to put y'all back in chains." Of course, at first Obama had no problem with it as he does the same thing quite frequently himself.
Here's the video so you can put things in your own perspective.
The Whine House's explanation, Obama included, seems to be a broken record about how to much attention is being paid to actual words rather than searching for the hidden meaning and context of those very words. Code is code folks and always will be. Obama's defense of Biden is hilarious really as Biden isn't exactly a mental giant in politics. You see fellow Americans we're just too stupid not to understand the nuiances that surround the speeches continually being used by Team Obama to further their war on anything and everything they disagree with. It must be a miserable position to be in not to be able to run on your record. But then again, Obama put himself in that very position. You usually reap what you sow. He naver learned that evidently.
I'm white and I clearly understand the metaphor that Biden used. Here's what Arthur Davis, a black former Congressman who moved to Virginia from Louisiana, had to say about the incident.
Divisive Language Is Just That...
Or maybe the black former Govenor of Virginia, Douglas Wilder, has it wrong too?
In fact Wall Street has never had chains on anyone of any color. As citizens we all have the ability to pick and choose who we do business with, do we not? Here's what I suggest if things need to be unchained.
1) Unchain the excessive regulations this administration has passed, usually through executive orders and not legislation, that is hampering the free market system.
2) Unchain the uncertainty this administration has created for businesses with the passage of Obamacare and its failure to understand the taxes and what raising them wroughts upon a free enterprise system.
3) Unchain the $716 billion that Obamacare is stealing from the Medicare system in order to fianance Obamacare and stop lying about the very fact that it was done. It's right there in the bill if you read it and also in a recent CBO report.
What needs to be "chained" is this negative campaign and diversion from the real issues that the nation needs to address. It's about the economy Stupid. I love it when something Bill Clinton used comes back to bite the Democratic Party. I have the leaisure of being one of those swing voters called an Indpendent and Clinton himself sealed the deal on that political move on my part.
I'm a bit weary of having my intelligence insulted by this administration by its questioining my capacity to understand the English language and its usage. Of course we didn't understand what Obama said about "you didn't build that." Or maybe his telling the nation that "the private sector is doing fine." That was taken out of context too according to the spin masters of the Lame Stream Media.
Not being a dope and voting for Obama in the first place, it's past time that the chains that were placed upon this nation, you and all concerned Americans should have about our way of life are cast off. That means holding Obama to his word.
Obama had his chance and blew it. So lets stop the crap that we all see going on and get back to the issues that face the nation. Unchain this nation and let it do what it does best. Unchain "We, the People..." from the monster the federal government has turned into rather than what the US Constitution says it role should be.
As Always,
The Frog Prince
