Called Organized Federal Theft

Updated on March 12, 2013

Pull Up A Chair And Lets Talk

What I'm about to write about is the sort of crap that would normally toast the average person's butt cheeks. I used the word "average" but I would surmise that a liberal would think this is normal conduct. Since I pay taxes to support shenanigans like this there is not one thing normal about it.I'm getting there so hold onto your bar stools.

One of the things you need to plug in in this discussion is the word "sequester." Obama is intent on making his point by making the American public miserable with nonsense cutbacks rather than looking under the covers right under his nose. Of course he won't because this strikes too close to home.

Ever wonder where your tax dollars are going? Ever wonder what all those over priced government employees are doing on our dime? Would it surprise you to know that they are union pushing on government time? do you think even for an instant you are going to turn on a Lame Stream Media station and hear the "rest of the story?"

Realize that Democratic politicians have their hands in the union coffers in exchange for the politicians greasing the union palms. It has been that way for decades. Union leadership collects forced dues form the membership and these "contributions" are used to support the union's political agenda.

Here's where the theft comes in and the practice is illegal. The Office of Personnel Management just released the annual Labor-Management Relations: Reports of Official Time. Government workers, you know those federal employees we pay, spend time on the job working to increase union power. This is totally illegal and is theft.

Here's how this works. Federal union workers, who aren't allowed to strike, spend time on the job doing union work and not the job we are paying them to do. We pay them for both the time working their assigned jobs and they use some of the official on-the-clock time promoting representational work for a bargaining unit. Nice racket if you can get it. This practice results in the tax payer losing on two fronts.

Human Blood Suckers

The number of hours involved here is astronomical. It comes in at 3.4 million hours spent doing illegal work and stealing from the tax payers who pay their salaries.

From the report: “During FY 2011, unions represented 1,202,733 non-Postal Federal civil service bargaining unit employees, an increase of 17,048 bargaining unit employees compared to FY 2010. Agencies reported that bargaining unit employees spent a total of 3,395,187 hours performing representational duties on official time, an increase of 9.66 percent compared to FY 2010. Government-wide, the number of official time hours used per bargaining unit employee on representational matters increased from 2.61 hours in FY 2010 to 2.82 hours during FY 2011.

These employees should be treated in the same manner that they would be treated if they worked in private sector businesses. They should be fired on the spot. They are stealing tax payer dollars. Take that to the sequester Obama.

Just take 3.4 million hours @ the low end of $15.00 per hour and see how much money should be recouped from these union bandits. Fraud, waste and abuse management would save this nation billions upon billions of dollars. The unions wouldn't be happy but SO WHAT?
